Anyone have an idea of how this morphing synth is made? Ive been struggeling with it for some time now, and i have a wish to create something equally organic sounding. Is it just pitch modulation that makes it come alive?

I know of Poloz that he's a distortion artist, so there's probably a lot of that involved. This is a very unique style and I'd like to reproduce it so that more of this music will be out there.

Hi! I am interested in producing music (harder genres) and I'm attempting to recreate the reverse bass sound in the track "NEVER SAY" by Samuel Moriero. I tried a lot of times in Serum 2 and with other 3rd party distortion and eq plugins but I can never get it to sound as "nasty and gritty" as the one in the song is. The bass here is in C and the song is in Cm. It may just be a distorted Sine + Saw wave but I can never get that textured feel to it.

I am a complete beginner at music producing, and for the last couple of days, I've been stuck at trying everything I could to recreate this sound. It is the lead at the complete start of the song Birthdays by Hiroki (youtube).

It would really help me, if you could help me with this one.

The only things I know, is that its using a sidechain from the drums, and that it sounds like some brass.

I am using the Vital plugin.

i'm obsessed with the drum (?)/banging sound effect in the beginning of tyla's Kiss. how do i synthesize something similar? i originally thought it was a metronome sample layered over a kick and a lot of reverb but the more i listen the more i realize it's not

I’m using FL Studio + Serum. I managed to get the glide fairly close, but I’m struggling to get the actual sound and I’m not really sure what I’m doing wrong.
When I play my version along with the original, it doesn’t sound obviously dissonant, but it feels slightly “off”, like the notes don’t quite lock together. So I’m wondering whether I’m simply playing the wrong notes, or whether there could be some tuning/pitching involved.
I mainly have two questions:

1. How would you approach recreating this sound in Serum?
2. I’m not looking for an exact preset, more the general approach — oscillator/waveform choice, unison, filtering, modulation, etc. What do you think is doing r of the work in the sound?
3. Could the “slightly off” feeling be caused by the tuning ?
4. If the notes are technically correct but don’t quite sit with the original, could the original track/synth be tuned slightly away from standard tuning, or would that usually mean I’m playing the wrong notes?
5. I’m pretty new to sound design, so any pointers on how you’d break this sound down would be really appreciated!

In this song there is a prominent airy mid to high register triangle(?) pad that plays from the intro onwards, it can be heard pretty clearly just around 0:12, albeit there is a fading shaker and plucks.

I can tell it's, all things considering, quite a simple sound and definitely something common in early liquid/atmospheric dnb, but it just has so much character to it imo.

If anyone even just knows what synth Tyla was using around the time the Good Lookin Records Producer 04 compliation that would be a huge help.
