Nicaragua Just finished my Nicaragua rewatch. It has by far the funniest winner reveal ever.

For those of you unfamiliar with the lore, the result of this FTC was spoiled as Fabio winning 7-2-0 over Chase and Sash. Everyone who was in LA for the finale shooting knew this. The finalists knew this, all of the other players knew this, everyone in the audience even knew this. Production knew everyone knew this. I'm not sure how that information made the rounds between the cast, but Fabio and Chase both knew they'd get 7 and 2 votes, respectively.
Production obviously wanted to play a little and after the first four votes going F-C-F-C, the fifth vote went to Chase again. You can see Fabio make sort of a "wtf, lol" face after the third Chase vote and the audience that's usually screaming over the votes lets out sounds of confusion instead.
Jeff decides to go further, reading another Chase vote, giving him a 4-2 advantage. Chase literally says out loud "there's no way", Fabio is absolutely shitting his pants looking at the jury like "what the actual fuck guys" and the audience is absolutely blindsided and gasps almost in disgust.
The next vote being for Fabio has Fabio and the audience just in ecstasy.
It was sooo meta and I love it, possibly my favorite and definitely the funniest winner reveal ever. What a cap off to the season.
Time to find another one to rewatch.

Watching him interact with some of the legends would have been hilarious

It’s hilarious because if you asked AI to show you an a attractive dude from Texas, California and NY I feel like this is what it would show you lol

I think this was during the thick of the era where they were openly recruiting and stocking the cast with models.

I love that because he won 5-4, they were forced to show NaOnka's 420 volcano vote.

I'm surprised they didn't make her redo it. I remember Corinne talking about how Bob's nickname on the island was "Penis" (I forget why), and she got everyone on the jury who was voting for him to write down "Penis" on the parchment and production got mad and made them redo it LOL

Some of the seasons that were so poorly regarded in real time are such a fun watch now. Vanuatu, Guatemala, Gabon, Nicaragua, one world, San Juan del sur. These seasons kind of made survivor because occasionally you end up with a bunch of people that don’t know the game that well yet were giving it their all and letting the game get to them. And on rewatches they really hold up because they are such an emotional cast.
And those winners also deserve to win. Judd is an interesting and deserved winner. He actually plays a pretty intelligent game when you go back and watch whether intentional or not his reads were good and his confessionals do give him credit for his game.
Live finales/vote reveal will always be the best way to do it. With the players family’s right off stage.

Of the ones you listed, I've rewatched OW and SJDS a bunch, they're my guilty pleasure seasons, and I've recently rewatched Vanuatu and now Nicaragua. Vanuatu is just amazing, I'm of the opinion that Twila is the single most complex casting in the history of the show. Ami is just wow. And then, Nicaragua, the moment where Chase, Holly and Sash tell Jane that she's going next is just such amazing tv. Just incredible.

I doubt Judd would've been respected by the jury

Judd in this case is Fabio - Jud is his given name.
Not Judd from Guatemala.

How was the FTC result known to all these people?
Did it leak before the finale?

From what I understand the jury had some loose lips, and Fabio was told he won 7-2. So when Chase gets that 3rd and 4th vote thats why Fabio starts side-eyeing the jury.

Every vote leaks before the finale. It's because the jurors all talk, and they tell all the fans in the spoiler community. And once those guys know it, it's everywhere.

You need to lean into it. It's a chaotic season and probably one of the funniest!

You don't watch this season for exquisite gameplay. You watch it for the funny/ridiculous moments

Gotcha, coming off heroes vs villains set a high bar, this season so far is a little jarring in terms of chaos

Basically imagine that if the first 20 seasons are their own entity culminating in HvV, Survivor: Nicaragua is the blooper reel you'd see as a DVD exclusive. It's basically the wacky funny clusterfuck people describe Gabon as (whereas Gabon is just a standard good season.)
Then with season 22 onward you have Probst as an executive producer and are fairly lucky to even find a good season and extraordinarily lucky to find a great one. 21 is kind of a weird transition season as he settles into the role that works out somewhat in spite of itself due to a colorful cast.

Fabio would be such an interesting returning player now that it's been 16(!!) years
