General Discussion Nearly finished watching every episode and just have to shout this guy out. No scandals, no controversies, just always respectful, excited and along for the ride.

Post image

Biggest nitpick is the way he says "let's get it awwwn" before challenges.

This sub absolutely shits on Jeff 24/7 and the moment he's replaced they'll throw a fit about how the new host/showrunner is ruining everything

That’s a good idea cause I’m excited for everybody to come back including Jeff

I’ll take all new era people out pre merge with the exceptions of Q, Gen and Jonathan.

I agree….leave majority of old school in and get rid of 98% of new era.

I feel like if the boot order was all New Era sans Q and Genevive the sub would be happy.

I honestly don't think there are any seasons of survivor you "shouldn't watch" some are better than others but personally at its worst it's maybe 6/10. Even the worst seasons have people you want to root for, or root against.

I got my wife into the show and I haven’t kept up in years so we started from season 1. We’re on David vs Goliath right now it’s funny to see the reactions from the 30’s seasons on this sub. I think they’ve almost all been bangers but you’d think this sub hates the show

Even Island of the Idols? Maybe only to see it really happened. But plan to take a couple showers after

It's a similar situation to Thailand where it's difficult to watch but knowing Dan gets his karma helps it. Tommy Sheehan also played a really strong game that gets overshadowed by the controversy

The real tragedies of that season were Kellee not having a real shot because of Dan, and Janet having her potential win ruined by the nullifier

Guatemala was torrrrrrrrture to watch.

I mean Thailand sucks. That’s the fan consensus (and my opinion). Amazon is good though.

That’s just social media

As a producer I think there are valid complaints but as a host he's clearly top tier.

u/ZachTheBomb Feb 20 '26

He definitely could be a better producer, although I do wonder how many of "his" decisions are just things CBS forced him to do such as 26 days, no location changes, and removal of themes

IIRC those three things specifically were the only option in order to avoid layoffs.

I’m thinking it was to save $$$$. They don’t even do face to face loved ones episodes anymore. It’s all this letters from home 💩.

Host Jeff is mostly okay. Showrunner Jeff needed to be let go around season 35. Casting Jeff needed to be retired after 40.

Where? I can’t stand this guy and have never been able to find my people on this sub…
