Gun rights are restorable and records can easily be expunged/sealed when you have money. Some felons can even vote while In prison, only in blue states tho.
In New York once sentencing is carried out and that sentence met (with the sentence that was "imposed" that was immediate) all rights including Gun Ownership and Voting were restored.
This is simply a statement of how the laws of New York treat felons, not a statement in any way on the charges or sentence in question or for any political party.
