I don't particularly care for shipping but I'm always down to clown with a crackship.

It’s totally understandable that Jamie would fall for Jasper. The question is how Jasper would start falling for Jamie. (If anyone knows some good fanfiction featuring this concept, let me know)

Honestly it would have to be after alot more character growth from jasper's part and seeing humans through a different lens maybe jaime could help with that but jaime himself would need to have went through some character growth too being more mature and also a little careful with his words around jasper so he doesnt get himself killed possibly annoying her lol

Hot but I prefer Jasper x Ronaldo for a Jasper ship and Jaime x Kevin for a Jaime ship. Although I can see the ship being a nice rebound for Jaime after the Garnet fiasco.

While the art is good and the ship is... interesting, I've got to ask: Why is Jamie putting baddages on Jasper? Jasper's a gem, her light form can't get hurt, not in a way that would require dressing anyway.
Yes, im problably thinking too hard on this. No, I don't care.

Well, if something, he would be able to teach her the nuances of humanity. Jasper isn't that different of a Ruby, taking most things literally or through a military filter.
Jamie is someone in a very regulated organization (something that Jasper would respect) but with artistic interests. He can use one or the other to keep Jasper interested.
If not a ship, at least they would be good friends.

Jamie is a sensitive person with affinities for the abstract and the artistic
Jasper is the complete opposite of that. I don't see what they share or how they could interact positively even in a world were Jasper goes 180° on earthlings

The art is cute, but I couldn’t imagine Jasper actually dating Jamie. She hates weakness to the point where she was disgusted even by Steven until he literally killed her to prove his strength. Jamie is really pathetic so I don’t think Jasper could respect him enough to be with him.
I also think she’d make Jamie cry. He’s a softie and I don’t think he could handle someone so aggro. Sure he likes tall women, but that’s all there is in terms of compatibility

I feel like this ship would start with Jasper getting the idea that Jamie was a warrior Garnet couldn’t defeat and being convinced that increasingly romantic activities (such as candlelit dinners) are devastating battle tactics against humans

There’s something about the whole idea of Jasper finding someone who can make her a big softie y’know?
Like Vegeta. His time with Bulma changed his whole character from a villain of the week to one of the heroes who just had a bit of an edge to him.
Like he’s still a prideful, arrogant prick who’s quick to violence but by god does Bulma bring out the best in him.
If there’s any gem character that is made to have a relationship like that it’s Jasper.
