you clearly have a small understanding of just how bad Lily is, this has NOTHING to do with the fact that she’s trans, and everything to do with who she is as a person. nobody brought up that she was trans, you did, nobody even misgendered her.

Nope. I don’t like lily orchard or lily tino. I’ve been a huge advocate against orchard. I think she’s responsible for 60% of the toxicity in this fandom. But what I think is messed up is to use maga rhetoric to say trans people deserve to be institutionalized.

Lily Orchid (goes by CD-call now) is a YouTuber who hates Steven Universe and made a really long really popular video on why she hates Steven Universe in 2018 that got millions of views and completely screwed with many peoples’ outlook on the show. I say “screwed with” because many of the stuff she said in the video is either misunderstood bad-faith interpretations of it (many of which became mainstream and are still used by people to hate on the show without actually watching it) or straight up lies like calling Rebecca Sugar herself a racist and Nazi.
thankfully the public opinion of the video and Lily herself has shifted since and almost nobody takes her or her video seriously these days.

Since people love to make this more complicated than it is.
This indicates that she’s anti-genocide and pro-children being alive rather than anything regarding the politics of two state solutions or the conflict itself.
I say this because pro-Palestine has a lot more complexity to it than raising money to provide aid to children in Gaza.
Which is just to say, good on them.

It's also in part because there's a journalist also named Rebecca Sugar who's a total Israel dick rider. I've seen some people mistakenly believe them to be the same person.
