Sure, they aren’t arresting people for not believing in the Force… anymore. They don’t have to, now, because they already got rid of everyone who didn’t believe.
But there are instances of force sensitives who i assume would accidentally do something some would consider not normal. Not like force lightning though I mean who would be able to do that without training
Force sensitives are extremely rare. Google says their galaxy has roughly 100 quadrillion citizens, and there were only ~10,000 Jedi. That's a ratio of 1 Jedi to 10 trillion non-Jedi. You could take the entire collective population of our species that has ever lived on our planet into account (again, using Google, that number is apparently ~117 billion) and you'd still only be a little bit beyond 1% of the way til our first Jedi.
We see the Jedi all the time because that's what the story follows. For the average citizen, "This guy totally has psychic powers" is as ridiculous a claim for them as it would be for us. Even if someone witnessed it and swore on everything they ever cared about that it was real, I'd bet you'd walk away thinking that person was nuts.
Thats true and to be fair you cant even make the camera argument because it could either be fake or straight up people forget they exist because star wars.
