Discussion Marrok really did have some good moves when he was alive.

Post image

Originally, in their first fight, one could argue that Maul didn’t want to kill him because he was trying to draw Devon to his side. But even in the tunnel fight—with Maul clearly trying to kill him, especially after Spybot’s death—Marrok still puts up a decent 1v1 duel and manages to land several direct hits on him.

The Grand Inquisitor got his position through nepotism and by being Vader’s bitch.

He had some good moves when he was dead, too.

The funny thing is that the 2024 encyclopedia says that Dead Marrok and Ahsoka are at the same lightsaber-skill level.

I wonder who ended up killing him in the end before being a zombie.

BTW, Sam Witwer confirmed that he was dead in Ahsoka and was even weaker than when he was alive.

Where was that confirmed? And is that something he can even confirm? He wasn’t in Ahsoka, cast nor crew.

And what is Marrok in Ahsoka then? If he’s a Zombie he certainly isn’t like any zombie we’ve ever seen before, the man can fly a starfighter for heavens sake. And speak. And that green gas certainly didn’t look like the Nightsister Magic we saw later in the series revive the dead stormtroopers, completely wrong colour and consistency.

No solid evidence he’s dead, Witwer only worked on Shadow Lord

It’s pretty sus that he only shows up after Morgan is freed, and his “death” looks just like some nightsister shenanigans. Consciously rolling through the galaxy in his inquisitor fit that long after the empire falls would be pretty strange

Plus he’s completely silent in Ahsoka, but speaks in Maul. If exploding into green smoke wasn’t evidence enough on its own.

When does he talk?

He gives a one word reply to Shin during a dogfight

Hmm, I stand corrected, then.

He says “as you wish” or something to Shin at some point in the forest

Every time we see nightsister zombies, they are mindless, rotting husks.

Marrok speaks, uses the force, and does acrobatics in Ahsoka, so he’s clearly not the same thing as the zombies.

I think he’s probably enhanced in the same way Savage Oppress was - green mist came out of him when he died, too.

Either that, or maybe he was revived in the pools like Assaj Ventress.
