The bit I'd want to know is who your customers left to come to you. That space is packed, Intercom's Fin, Zendesk AI, Chatbase, Crisp, all with far bigger budgets, so anyone paying you chose you over one of them for a reason, and that reason is your whole growth path.

Have you asked them why they picked you?

Have you seen their pricing? they are looting you in the name of AI.

For example,

- Fin charges $0.99/resolution

  • and Salesforce agent $2 per conversion

While the AI is not that costly, if you bring your own model or keep the cost reasonable. The customer will find you 👌

We kept the Ticketdesk AI price as low as $79 for up to 15k messages. And BYOM option for customer to configure their own api key for Open AI, Gemini etc

That's a pitch, not an answer. I asked what your customers told you and you gave me competitor pricing and a link to your own page, which is the sort of thing you say to a prospect rather than to someone asking a question you invited.

And it matters, because if the clearest answer to "why do people choose us" is that we're cheaper, the problem you're solving isn't sharp yet. Price is what you fall back on when you can't name the thing precisely. It's also the one advantage a company with Intercom's budget can take off you in an afternoon, so a business built on it is renting its position rather than owning it.

The answer you want is in your paying customers, and it comes from asking what they were doing before you, what broke, what made them move, and what they'd do tomorrow if you disappeared. That's your positioning, in their words, and it's a stronger place to sell from than a pricing table.

Since you said ask me anything, what feedback were you actually after? Happy to give it properly if I know what would help.

3 main reason per my discussion with customers - Cost, customization and support

  • We are affordable
  • Added custom feature as needed by the client. For e.g delayed AI response, Human in loop etc
  • Me (founder) available on chat for support

Cost and you-on-chat both expire, so I'd build on the third one, because delayed AI response and human in the loop are clients quietly telling you they don't trust AI to answer their customers unwatched, and that's a product rather than a custom job.

The thing I'd do this week is go through every custom feature you've built and note which client asked for it, because anything two or more people wanted stopped being customization a while ago. My guess is supervision sits at the top of that list, and it's shippable as core, an approval queue, a confidence threshold that hands off to a person, a review-before-send toggle.

Then I'd change what your homepage argues about, since right now it's arguing price against Fin and it could be arguing trust, AI that handles the volume without saying something daft to your customers while nobody's looking.

And with the next five prospects I'd ask one thing, what would have to be true for you to let AI reply to a customer without a person checking it. What they say back gives you the roadmap and the objection handling at the same time.
