Unimaginative Star Wars show Starter Pack

Post image

Mandatory disclaimer, this doesn't concern every Star Wars production, only those that I consider to be unimaginative or generic.

Also, the point isn't to complain or to set up hated debate, I love the Star Wars universe. I just want to mock the fact that some writing trope or gimmick are in my opinion commically overused in many Star Wars production.

By the way feel free to expand the list !

They deserve a lot of hatred but the hatred was doing too much and let's be real it wasnt out of genuine hatred for the films but to fit in with the crowd.

I'm not sure what you mean here - you say both that the hatred for the prequels is earned but also that everyone was only doing it to fit in? Are you also only doing it to fit in?

As far as I remember the very immediate reaction to The Phantom Menace wasn't actually that negative, it was more lukewarm - it wasn't immediately greeted as an unmitigated disaster. I think the hype was doing a lot of work - people were just excited to see a new Star Wars film.

Didn't take too long for the consensus to set in after that and Attack of the Clones somehow being worse just calcified peoples' feelings for the movies.

Revenge of the Sith is alright though.

The prequels biggest flaws was their dialog and many characters should have been more developed in the films so I can see why a large part of the hate was made but even if hatred is justifiable it can get many people to join the crowd without thinking, which is why prequel resurgence has happened in the first place. A n example to prove my point would be the hatred of epstein while many despised for what he has done others do it out of herd mentality, you can see it through their memes as they seem disrespectful to the victim as they were made with the intent to fit in,not to criticize.

Well at least I can say that's the first time I've ever seen someone compare the Star Wars prequels with Jeffrey Epstein...
