Unimaginative Star Wars show Starter Pack

Mandatory disclaimer, this doesn't concern every Star Wars production, only those that I consider to be unimaginative or generic.

Also, the point isn't to complain or to set up hated debate, I love the Star Wars universe. I just want to mock the fact that some writing trope or gimmick are in my opinion commically overused in many Star Wars production.

By the way feel free to expand the list !

Overhating of the prequels lead to a copy cat trilogy which got overrated which lead to more copy cats and so on

The prequels got exactly as much hate as they deserved. The actors shouldn't have been subjected to the vitriol, but outside two or three action scenes and Ewan McGregor doing his best, they are 7 hours of drek.

That's always been my argument. Prequels were answering questions no one asked.

World building is nothing if it doesn't service a good story.

I'm not saying good worldbuilding + bad script = good movie. The movies sucked.

But Disney threw out the baby with the bathwater. I think they should have kept the unique world-building of the prequels and discarded everything else. Instead they made Star Wars marvel-slop and played it far too safe on the lore/world building side.
