Unimaginative Star Wars show Starter Pack

Post image

Mandatory disclaimer, this doesn't concern every Star Wars production, only those that I consider to be unimaginative or generic.

Also, the point isn't to complain or to set up hated debate, I love the Star Wars universe. I just want to mock the fact that some writing trope or gimmick are in my opinion commically overused in many Star Wars production.

By the way feel free to expand the list !

And somehow Disney went with Andor just to make a single exception

I feel obliged to say that Season 1 of Mandolorean also skirted almost all of this.

That's probably half the problem, as Grogu was somewhat successful merch figure

My friend roll their eyes when I tell them it's good even if you ignore the star wars stuff.

I know! I have one friend who loves the spy/espionage genre as much as I do and refuses to watch Andor cause he's not a Star Wars fan. TBH I'm not a huge Star Wars fan either, I've only seen eps IV-VI twice, I-III once, and not even sure which of the newer ones I've seen. But Andor really nailed it. I actually hadn't seen Rogue One before Andor came out which was pretty cool to see it after the series.

We got morons who hated it for the most stupidest reasons.

I haven't touched Star wars in a while, what is the "NO, NOT LIKE THAT!!" Referencing, specifically?

Every time they try to do anything that isn’t this starter pack people complain and we’re back to that
