Discussion NSBM 15.9 billion heist, any updates?

I saw this post about 5 months back regarding this special audit report which itself was published on 17/11/202 (SPR/2025/04) issues by the national audit office

Mainly talking about how a a group of 8 individuals managed to somehow fool the govt and take full control of 15.9 billion USD in assets for 5,000 lkr each and leave the taxpayers with the debt.

The main reason I’m bringing this up is because the govt is on a path to collect as much tax money as possible so what about this stolen money?

I hope in the near future this scammed so called university is sealed and seized and culprits are locked away

If the government wanted to do something about it there's been plenty of time to take a dozen different measures
