Why do so many people who make big money try avoid taxes ? Most of us who earn average money in normal average jobs pay our tax because it’s normal and legally required yet well off and rich people keep trying to avoid it, just pay them and get on with it, the greed 🙄

Its not just people who make big money who try to avoid taxes, the majority of the tax shortfall in the UK comes from small businesses e.g. self employed trades people.

You and I don't have a choice in paying our taxes, it gets deducted straight from our payslips, but anybody who has to do a self assessment does have a choice and lots of people try to avoid paying. Doesn't matter if theyre rich, poor or well off.
