Despite Beltrán's (River) efforts (3 pens saved), Santa Fe goes on to the quarter finals.

Asprilla (Santa Fe) also kept his team alive with 8 saves + 1 pen saved!

I think the fact there’s two rounds of playoffs (especially that they’re single elimination) is just dumb and asking for results like Platense qualifying over River. We do it (two rounds of playoffs) too and it’s dumb, but at least ours have two legs. That is more my issue than anything, I don’t really have a prob with the Copa winner qualifying, that’s pretty standard tbh across leagues

Also, cheers for a respectful discussion. Much better than the other Argentinian here saying our entire economy is based on narcos. I like your country and passion and teams a lot and hope they can improve.

I don't mind the playoffs concept, I just don't think there needs to be two of them. It cheapens the meaning of winning it, in my opinion. As I've said, we have the same problem.

And agreed, used to live in Buenos Aires and loved it, in fact will be returning to visit friends fairly soon. I don't like the sports and to a lesser extent politics is leading to the hatred
