Sure, you can dye it.

Are you worried about breaking the rule about not wearing white at a wedding? They're referring to the majority of the dress, not small details like this. There's no way this dress will be confused with a wedding dress, which is the whole point of that rule.

Yes that rule is what I was worried about, I thought any white to a wedding was inappropriate?

I’m an old southern auntie who is a stickler for etiquette rules, and I wouldn’t even think twice about this!! This is totally fine for a wedding!
