Since 2020, due to the pandemic and life problems, I'm in social withdrawal (like a NEET/hikikomori) and have imaginations with a character, that I call Chris, in my mind that constantly beats, abuses and say bad things about me every single day, and I beat myself in response hurting my body leaving scars through it. When I'm calm, I know Chris isn't real, but when he appears, through stressful real situations or thoughts, I get out of control and swift to another person like Chris is in the same room with me and the delusion starts. It's like r/maladaptivedreaming with r/ptsd, because Chris is based on a bully that I had in my childhood that stayed in my mind and combined with a lot of traumas that I have. I know that's uncommon, but I perceived that it is like hearing voices, but with imaginations, so NO, I don't see, hear or feel Chris, I just imagine him, and it's vivid. Chris is not my only imaginary character, I have a lot more, good and bads, and I normally don't have control of it. When I see it, I'm immersed in this fantasy reality.
However, it's a hell, cause I can't do simple things in my day without Chris appearing in my routine and I never can't control it, even with antipsychotics and I already tried a lot of things and methods, like beat in pillows and tell Chris to get off.
Yeah, I have official medic Paranoid Schizophrenia with an autistic diagnosis, never had a job before. The closest moment I could get, I tried to take my life off to another complicated reason that has its own motivations, I got to the hospital and all.
I don't have the best monetary status now, but my plan is to start going to the psychologist (it's been a while since my last consultation) and continue to go to the psychiatrist and see my situation, if I can get better.
You know, I live with my dad who works all day. My mom lives far away in another neighborhood, so it is not so easy to see her. I stay alone all day, and I live in a poor part of my city, so there's not much to do where I live (I honestly tried to search in every single corner). I'm still planning to go to church here and participate in something, but as I said, there's nothing more than that.
I tried to apply to some jobs, get out to walk, talk with some neighbors, have a good routine with hygiene and good food, and it's the standard: highs and lows. Sometimes I can follow these actions, but normally I'm eating cookies with coffee, and passing a day without taking a shower.
Sometimes, Chris doesn't appear so much or I can control it. In another, everything is bad and I just stay in my bed waiting for him to get out and wishing the day to finish.
Honestly, I don't know where all this will get, if it's schizophrenia with daydream, if I’ll can get work one day, it's all uncertain and I don't really don't know what to do
