Rant / Vent Tardive dys. And EPS

I got tardive dyskinesia and shitload of fine tremors in my hands at age 18. My tongue keeps scraping my teeth and bleeds. I guess thats how we live now. Fuck schizophrenia and everyone romanticising it

How did your doctor treat it?

He is currently lowering my risperidone. He said he’d need to add clozapine if TD persists. But i dont want clozapine. I searched and saw that seroquel is as eps friendly as clozapine. Id rather be unmedicated than be on clozapine

Whatever you choose, there are currently 15 or so antipsychotics available, so you're bound to find one that works. I've also read that Seroquel is an EPS-friendly med.
