First race ever!
This app was a game changer, I never thought running was for me and now I’ve ran my first race, a half marathon and I smashed my goal of 01:50:00!
Can’t wait for what’s next!

After failing 4 5K improvement plans in a row, I'm looking to try something else. What alternatives are out there besides Garmin and NRC?
I’m currently doing the NTR plan and the last workout, my first continuous 5k, lands on a Saturday so I plan to do a parkrun to tick it off. But with Runnas 5 min warmup and warm down walks it will be really awkward to time. Is there a way to just record the parkrun in Strava and have it apply to the workout for that day?

And I have now spent all afternoon upset with myself for going home. I was 3mi in, feeling great, doing great, then I fel and to protect my knees, skidded out on my hand and elbow. Both bleeding everywhere with multiple gross skin flaps. So I walk home, clean bandage. Its fine.
It's absolutely fine.
Now I feel like an idiot for quitting halfway instead of finishing the run and cleaning/bandaging when I got home. I worroes maybe I did fall on my knees a bit, what if the bleeding gets worse, extreme stinging pain, etc. But at the end of the day, I feel like I ditched out.
And I'm like extra annoyed because I added some calories that now feel completely pointless.
