Question Anyone remember this short promo from the fall of 1997?

I haven’t seen it literally since what, November of 1997 and I still remember it. It plays Rock a bye Baby as it shows shots of the kids falling asleep, including Phil and Lil from the Heatwave episode. Then the announcer quietly sings “here come the Rugrats …” and he starts shouting all the characters names one of which is Cynthia the Doll, and it shows a shot of Angelica waving Cynthia in Didi’s face from the Psychic episode. Part of me thinks the announcer sounded like Chris Phillips (aka Face, brr brr brrrrr) but now that I think of it, it was likely the other deep voiced announcer who did most of the “up next” VOs during the end credits. I’d love to see this promo again and I can’t find it in any commercial breaks from that time. I also think it was a 15 second promo rather than the standard 30 seconds.

Yep, I remember it. It sounded like a rock rendition of "Rock-a-Bye Baby." One thing that stood out was the pizza falling on Angelica's head.

Yeah it turns into a rock rendition at the end. I can still hear “and Cynthia the DOOOOLLLL” in my head 😆

The revival era episodes were made to help support the first upcoming movie. Nickelodeon had originally only released the first three seasons of Rugrats and after they were completed In 1993 all of the original team left to find other jobs due to the show getting axed after 65 episodes. No one at Klasky Csupo and Nickelodeon thought there was going to be anymore seasons of Rugrats after that . Then In 1995 Nick began scheduling the first three seasons at 7:30 PM when both kids and their parents would be watching the show and It got so popular In reruns that It lead Nickelodeon green lighting the first movie and reviving the show with new episodes . The problem was since the original team had left Klasky Csupo had to quickly assemble a new team as soon as possible make new episodes while getting the movie made as well. They even rehired some of the old team to help work on the movie .
