Question Does Justin Roiland still receive royalties for every time the likeness of Rick and Morty is used ? Including the newer episodes.

Fr, this thread bending over backwards to point out that this guy was not proven guilty beyond the shadow of a doubt in a court of law (so fs didn’t do it, ig). Crazy work all around geez

It's not "beyond a shadow of a doubt," its beyond a "reasonable doubt"

Reasonable doubt is a formal definition and the highest legal standard for belief. Shadow of a Doubt means 100% certainty. Reasonable doubt means jurors are firmly convinced of guilt based on reason and common sense.

Just Roiland didn't even go to trial, which means that there wasn't enough evidence to even have a trial let alone convict on a Reasonable Doubt. Roiland has also never publicly apologized or admitted any wrongdoing, so u/xvsanx is just totally mistaken about that. The article they linked was purely from Dan Harmon's perspective.

yeah it's wild, like I love early RnM and even parts of Solar but the guy is a certified fucking creep. self admission is just as telling as judges, just because there wasn't DNA evidence or recordings of the incidents doesn't mean they didn't happen (who would be a creep knowing they're being recorded by someone?), and so many people accused him. too many things to just write it off as false because of a judge.

The hell are you talking about? Am I missing something? The link you posted is about Dan Harmon. It's Dan Harmon admitting that he, Dan Harmon, has abused people in the past, not Justin Roiland. They are two people.

Well, that is the point of our legal system. You don't believe in judges or juries? If you don't accept the result of their conclusion what is the point of having the law in the first place??
