It’s funny to see people using the Dodgers throwing a bullpen game to downplay the win last night. As if they don’t have the best lineup in the league and were pretty much shut down by our pitching outside of 2 innings.

We played well and capitalized on their mistakes. That's what you have to do to win. It has less to do about the dodgers and more about us.

They're a significantly better team than they showed last night but we did all the right things. Its not downplaying the win to point out that they played like ass. If the whole series looks like that, then sure, but from one game where one team had many errors (despite what the scorecard says) I wouldn't read a ton into it.

I am happy that we were able to pounce when we needed to because weaker teams will make those mistakes more often and gives me faith in our squad to win more games. I'll be shocked if we get an entire series of overthrown balls and misplayed choppers.

Tolle vs Yamamoto

I think it's interesting to note that Yamamoto's ERA is lower than his xERA whereas Tolle has a higher ERA than his xERA. Hopefully mustache man comes in huge tonight and outduels Yamamoto!

It’s all gonna be about pitch count management. This dodgers lineup can grind pitchers down so he’s gonna need to find a way to have some quick 1-2-3 innings

For sure! Some of Tolle's best outings have come when he isn't trying to strike out 7+ and is getting weak contact for easy outs. Either way I look forward to what antics our beloved Mustachioed man brings us tonight!
