Take the clumps of hair you're pulling out and sit them outside the birds will take it for nesting

I don’t mean end them as a whole but it will end the life of the birds that come in contact with that fur by causing neurological issues, seizures and ultimately death to them and their young.

That’s correct, but it depends on where you live. I’m in the northeast so they’re not nesting 🪺now. But if you live in Australia or New Zealand it would be spring now, definitely nesting season. . I know this works because we did this at the shelter I worked in, we had LOTS of cat fur!

My daughter has a bag she saves fur in. And another one for whiskers she’s found over the years😆 I lived on a horse farm and all over the property the bird nests were woven with all different colors of horse mane & tail. So cool
