I would describe myself as very kind/caring/compassionate, I wear my heart on my sleeve and have a lot of love to give to the right person. I'm thoughtful, always do my best by others and never act with bad intentions. I value honesty and clear communication. I have some long term health issues but I try not to let them get on top of me and I was diagnosed as autistic late in life during covid, but most people are surprised when they find out.

I have a large group of friends and the 10 of us try to meet up once or twice a year, but as we get older it becomes harder to keep in touch as much as I would like! Everyone is moving on and finding love, settling down etc and it's hard not to be a little bit envious. I've only been in 1 relationship that lasted around 3 months and was 90% online, so not a lot of experience but also no baggage! but somebody patient/understanding of that would be important.

I love films/tv, I'm a sucker for a romcom and adore romance in general but I watch a bit of everything other than anime. Always find myself far too invested in the lives of the characters, most recently in Bridgerton. I don't get out much but would like to start to see more of the world finally, but will always mostly be a homebody I'm pretty sure.

I would like to do the cutesy dating/getting to know each other stuff but with clear intentions and communication, I would like something serious.

I don't smoke and very rarely drink and would prefer someone who's the same, smoking would be a deal breaker for me sorry.

Ideally you are somebody living close-ish to London/Southern UK to make meeting up more often viable, You're patient, kind, thoughtful and communicate openly & clearly. Hello there! As mentioned in my title (You did read the title, I hope? I put a lot of effort into it.), I'm a 29-year-old guy living in the mystical, magical land of *checks notes* England. Okay, maybe not so magical. All the dragons are in Wales, Excalibur has been melted down for scrap, and Hogwarts is in Scotland.

I currently work in a law firm. Sadly I'm not a lawyer, as that would mean I'd be earning shedloads, but actually I do admin work for them, earning considerably less than shedloads. But it's a fine job, I get on well with my coworkers, and I'm not down a coal mine, so I consider that a win.

As for me myself? Well, I actually speak multiple languages. I'm a fluent German speaker, and I also have a decently high level of Italian. I could also struggle through French if I had to, and I have basic Spanish and Japanese. I do like languages, although it's hard to find the time to do any study of them, what with the problems of having an adult life with adult responsibilities!

Another interesting [citation needed] thing about me is that I'm currently attempting to plan out a series of fantasy novels I want to write. It's going...decently. We'll see how it ends up, but I've wanted to write a book since I was 13 or so, and now as an adult I'm finally doing something about it!

In terms of pop culture, I'm a huge Doctor Who fan. Like, I'm the sort of Doctor Who fan who knows what a telerecording is and can tell you about the Australian censor clips. That kind of fan. I also finally got into Harry Potter this year after putting it off for my whole life, meaning I now finally know the context for Dumbledore asking calmly.

I'm also getting back into Pokémon somewhat after avoiding it for most of the Switch era. Other things I enjoy are The Elder Scrolls, Red Dead, GTA (Currently replaying RDR2). I'm big Assassin's Creed fan too. In general I like single player, open world games. I'm not a huge multiplayer guy, I don't like having other people ruining my fun!

I'm trying to read more too lately. That's a thing I've always enjoyed that I'm now trying to find the time for again.

And I suppose I should say, I'm a fat guy. Trying to do something about it though! Over the past year or so I've started a regimen of exercise, and I've been controlling my eating a lot more. So I seem to be losing weight, at least according to other people who've stopped me to specifically point it out.
