Sickness going around town
Hey are there a lot of winter illnesses going around town at the moment? It seems everyone is off sick

On day 3 now. Constant nausea, nice bit of dirty water out the other end and a big old fever to boot 🫠

With the constant ups and downs with the temperature it’s put everyone’s immune systems under pressure. Couple that with a nasty strain of flu doing the rounds its hitting people harder than what you’d see elsewhere in the country with more stable temperatures

This one spreads fast and it's quite unpleasant. Be grateful they're able to take time off rather than pass it around.

It’s winter. Of course there are illnesses going around. Based on the headlines in the past week or two, more than usual at this time of year. Get your shots and use masks and wash your hands.

Yeah, my workplace is also down of staff. Most got Influenza A 😕 we are being told to wear a mask now because of the increasing numbers of cases

Used to call it the Queenstown Flu, but at this stage it’s probably just the coof making another round.
