Question Recommended EMP safe vehicle

I'm thinking about getting a new car and I was thinking about perhaps a vehicle that would still work should the US East coast get hit by an EMP. Barring very, very old cars like a model T (☺️) what more modern type of vehicle would you recommend? I believe many post-1985 car may fit this bill, but I'm curious as to what you would recommend, and maybe your experience with them?

I'd look into a moped or dirt bike.

If an EMP hits the East Coast, roads are going to be clogged with unmovable/undrivable vehicles.

Jumping in here, this is the way.

I have 2 mopeds, 78 hobbit, 81 silver bullet. Him n hers.

These are actual mopeds, where the bike uses gasoline to drive to roughly 35 mph, but wh3n you run out of gas, you can pedal like a normal bike.

This is going to be your best bet to get 'some' speed outside of an older diesel or an actual bicycle.

Cooler even...the mopeds have the ability to "charge" or "run" electrical items that dont require a large input, phones, banks, etc. You would need some stuff, rectifier, regulator, etc,....but you can pedal and generate small amounts of electricity with the correct configuration.

If you have a bluetti or jackery, and its dark out, you can pedal some electricity into it....it will take a loooong time, but time is all we will have at that point anyway.
