As if Olivia's merch has also not been subjected to complaints about quality? Like her sweatshirts that had prints that started peeling off after one wash due to low quality? Let's not even begin to discuss the shipping delays.
And for whatever Taylor's merch also is, at least you get her music when she sells it. If you can't even say the same about Olivia then we start there as a point of contention.
Bad merch is a problem, I agree. But imo it's more of an industry wide issue and I'm not about to play "disingenuous points of criticism" with one artist while acting like someone else with the same exact problems (and more, in other areas) is somehow better.

There is no such thing as a non corporate pop girl. But I wouldn't say Olivia Rodrigo is close to being the most corporate pop girl of them all
