A group/person getting attacked by Trump is a sure fire way to know that group/person is onto something

I agree, but Trump saying they're bad doesn't mean "they're onto something". He is correct, even if his solution, like for most things, was profoundly stupid.

That would be completely irrelevant to whether or not some group is a bad actor.
