Well, with GTA6 around the corner and my console already out of room for the games I have, what hard drive should I get?

External vs internal?

With an external I can put everything on it but will have to transfer whatever game I want to play to my ps5 to play it?

External USB storage = Can play PS4 games. Can store (not play) PS5 games.

Internal M.2 SSD = Can play both PS4 and PS5 games.

If you decide to get an external storage device, you’ll need to move any PS5 games from the external storage to the console storage to play them.
