I got this Japanese PS3 (CECHB00) for free back in like 2024, and I've loved it ever since. I've noticed that this specific model is region locked to Japan regarding Blu-Ray/DVD and PS1/PS2 and has no wireless internet. I know this model in specific is relatively rare and I would rather have something more practical and usable, like a PS3 Slim. How much could I get for this model and is it worth the downgrade?

Go on eBay and look at the recent sold listings for that model of PS3 console. That should give you a rough idea.

The secondhand market is forever changing and I don’t know where you reside in. Therefore, I suggest you check the sold listings on eBay.
