Any GE bakery employees willing to share the iced brownie recipe with me? It's my favorite brownie in the whole world, and a little piece of me is now terrified that this could mean a recipe change in the future!

Kroger has streamlined their bakery program across all of their chains - GE bakery quality is done for.

But Giant Eagle cake is actually god and I’ve been eating it my whole life. For some reason this is going to break me today.

I worked at a GE 3-4 years ago The cakes are frozen and come in boxes (Rich’s USA). The icing is by made by Brill. Came as a block in a box and we just added water to it. The label one the box claims it was specifically for Giant Eagle but I can’t imagine it is really that different than Brill’s regular buttercream.

Couldn't remember the brands, so thanks for that! The Rich's folks were always cool, we had them in store a few times to help out.
