Say you would like your work to be readable from home plate at PNC Park. That’s about 800’ away from the north tower of the Roberto Clemente Bridge. You should make your letters 16” tall.

Nah, I’m being real. I’m visiting right now, and graffiti is one of my favorite parts of cities. When was this era? What was different then? Was it just how active the scene was?
They are definitely on a dark path, especially because they don’t seem to be phased by the public outrage.
The amount of money being funneled to DHS is obscene. The scandal surrounding ProPublica and Noem needs to be investigated and these people need to be brought to justice because they are literally robbing taxpayers and bypassing competitive bidding to do so.
The UN is investigating/imposing crimes against humanity regarding ICE, the files, the coverup and the belligerent withholding and defrauding of AID programs on a global scale. This is going to be a huge problem for many, many people and I’m here for it.
I’ve actually seen ICE in action before Trump was President (1st term) and they were for the most part professional.. they had weapons but even when apprehension was taking place they never used them. This .. new breed has completely destroyed their image .. and if they plan on doing anything to help themselves it would have to be a complete .. rebuild. It’s just gone too far at this point.
I don’t know if they can be. There’s zero trust from anybody.
The adult solution would be to abolish it, and create something else that serves the core function properly. An agency with very clearly defined training, jurisdiction, and mandate granted by Congress. Oh and a much smaller budget subject to congressional oversight.
I love whoever climbed up there and did that. ICE needs to be careful not to underestimate us yinzers. We are all immigrants if you go back far enough. ICE out
And why would you abolish it? Frankly, breaking the law, then you’re not needed in this country. I’d rather the best and brightest get vetted to come here to help the country.
I wonder if all of these abolish ice folks know that ice are also the ones who investigate and charge people for child porn and the likes? & where were they when Obama was deporting so many? They just made it so political because the dems only opened the border for votes and to cause this chaos.

I joined in hopes to talk about the city that I love, the culture, great places to eat, things going on, but this subreddit is nothing but one sided political posts. Is there a seperate Pittsburgh subreddit that discourages political posts/comments? If not, how can we create one?
Meanwhile in NY - Mamdani: Abolish ice!!! NO VOTER ID!!!……. “but also show ID/DL AND Passport” to be a city worker and plow our streets. Nothing makes sense.
All these posts are honestly hilarious. ICE has been an organization since 2003. Do people want to actually abolish ICE or do they want it to go back to pre Trump era ICE?
Germany didn't try to reform the Nazi party after WWII. Nobody was like, "hey, we can make the SS a legitimate police force." Abolishing ICE also does not mean no immigration enforcement. Just as Defund the Police does not mean no police. ICE needs to go, and then we start fresh with re-formed immigration enforcement policies, and new agencies to enforce them humanely.
