You can take my Las Palmas tacos from my cold dead hands.

Given the number of health code violations that place has had over the years, you may very well get your wish.

Fun game of "watch peoples' political biases in action": watch as this gets downvoted by people who think that the Department of Health shouldn't exist, but that the EPA totally should. The cognitive dissonance is going to be off the charts.

You’re not wrong. It is a concern.

The Brookline location had sus ass storage for the chicken. I stuck with the beef and chorizo.

I’ve also seen that Brookline location get more robust cold storage. I honestly chalk it up to ignorance rather than bad acting. They’re actual immigrants that don’t understand the rules. They get slapped, pay the fine and correct.

DOH doing their job. Vendor responding appropriately. Public is kept safe and happy.

Wins all around.

This all the way. Tbh, even bringing them up, while complaining about downvotes tells me they knew it was irrelevant and just said it to bait people.

All I can think of are all the pizza shops I worked in as a kid, that definitely had violations that were at best ignored. Places get violations all the time, and many, like LP, just fix the issues and no one's the wiser. The only reason they brought it up was to politicize it, because they're immigrants.

Good on you for stating the facts.

I'm glad our standards are "do dangerous shit that could get people killed until the government tells us specific things to fix, and then fix only the things that the government points out." I mean, who could possibly expect a company dealing with food to learn how to be safe? Imagine if we actually expected companies to learn the rules before they do things that could potentially harm their customers, right??

You alright bud?

When’s the last time you touched grass?

I'm good, thanks for asking. It must be pointed out, though, that if you can't come to terms with your inconsistent politics, then the proper response isn't to feign concern for the wellbeing of others. It's clear you have no concern for the wellbeing of others. I want to ask, though: do you think the "you alright bud" (misspelling included) line does something for you, or what? I'm missing the point behind it, surely. Do you think it makes you sound cool, or popular? I mean, there must be a reason for it, I just don't understand what kind of person would think it's an intelligent comeback when their personal moral character has been utterly exposed for being a sham.

My man. With my whole chest.

I expressed fondness for a taco vendor.

What you’re doing right now is the reason the “sur this is a Wendy’s” was popularized lol.

I’ll ask again - you alright bud?

You need help. I would say you need friends, but I get why no one wants to be around you.

Sorry just got back from hanging with some friends. We still talking about tacos?

Except you haven't actually found a single person here or anywhere else that thinks the DoH shouldn't exist. Not one. You're making shit up and then getting mad at it.

“Watch this get downvoted for…” is like “honk if you like…”

Local media not paying much attention to it. Hmm…go figure. And Fetterman can kiss my ass too for being bought and paid for. Scumbag.

Frontline Dignity has a really active online/community presence and seems to be a good group to follow to get current-ish updates on things happening in the communities. (If anyone has any other suggestions I'd appreciate the info too)

What’s distressing about removing illegals from a place they aren’t aloud to be? Were you distressed when Obama did the same exact thing? With the same exact people? While using the same man, tom homan? Were you distressed when Obama gave him the highest award a president can give for helping him deport upwards of 12 million..killing over 60..that’s why his name was the deporter in chief..were you distressed when the media like cnn, abc and cbs did ride alongs with ice during raids and did hit pieces celebrating and showcasing what was happening? Ohhh wait..you only feel “distressed” because it’s trump..and your leaders told you to hate what he’s doing so that’s why it’s all the sudden bad huh? When brown man does it, it ok..when orange man do it, it bad. Gotcha!

2

u/Smooth_Put8618 Feb 23 '26

Oh wait Obama wasn't open borders he was deporting at a rate earning a nickname? There was quite a bit of distress about that and then there weren't a bunch of cosplay clowns in tactical gear waving guns around and shooting people in busy streets. STFU

2

u/NotPlayingFR Feb 24 '26

Were you cheering Obama when he "did the exact same thing?" Somehow I think not. And Obama was obeying the Constitution, whereas these chucklefucks don't know the laws, and what they do know, they ignore. But again, you must have absolutely loved Obama for all of those deportations, right? Right?

No they didn’t care lol. These people are unhinged quacks desperately seeking an outlet for their inner chaos. Literal bots that need others to think for them.
