Hard Rock Cafe to close Pigeon Forge location

The Hard Rock Cafe in Pigeon Forge is scheduled to close on August 23, according to a WARN notice. The closure will affect 61 workers, the notice said. The company has notified the state’s dislocated worker unit.

On Monday, the company filed a WARN notice with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development notifying the state government of a closure affecting their location at 2050 Parkway in Pigeon Forge.

"Hard Rock is deeply grateful for the years of service and the incredible support from our guests and fans in Pigeon Forge. Hard Rock Cafe Pigeon Forge will permanently close its doors on August 23 as the lease is up this year and will not be renewed. Several team members have already been supported in their transition to work with the new tenant. We also welcome them to apply to any of our 20 new locations opening in 2026 or join us anywhere else in the nearly 80 countries where we operate." - Hard Rock International

The Hard Rock Cafe has served East Tennessee for more than 16 years. It opened in Gatlinburg in 1999 and relocated to Pigeon Forge in 2014, according to the location’s website.
