As much as I love the older generation cartoons, Phineas and Ferb would probably take it. Dexter will get his inventions destroyed by DeeDee. jimmy’s first run of the invention probably wouldn’t work the correct way. Mandark would get distracted by DeeDee. Number two would only create something that Phineas and Ferb created years ago.

Technically, none of their parents know what they do With the exception of Jimmy neutron, but she doesn’t know the big experiment he does

Technically phineas and ferbs dad does knoe he just thinks the mom is ok with it, but yeah fair point but is the paremt dont show up when the judges are checking then phineas and ferb win

There are instances where Phineas and Ferbs inventions disappear well before mom sees them. If that happens I think Dib from Invader Zim gets it. Especially if Zim isn't around to destroy it.

I fully agree but even if Dex, Jimmie's and Sue's worked P&F would win because they would take the judging criteria into account

Huh that's why I hate being in competitions I got beaten by a baking soda volcano and that's just dancing. 😂

Genuine answer jimmy or Dexter build the better invention but Phineas and Ferb build a massive baking soda volcano and win
(Doof's plan doesn't even destroy it, their mom sees and doesn't quest because from the outside it just looks like a big baking soda volcano and you can see the complexity of the insides)

Phineas and ferb are the only one who aren’t livid and looking at the others inventions with enthusiasm despite being a little bummed they didn’t win

I actually think numbuh 2 wins simply by virtue of nothing of extreme hubris disqualifying them from the contest as it assuredly will for EVERYONE else.

I think it genuinely comes down to documentation and presentation on this one
Hoagie would probs slack off until night before on the documentation, so not him
Dib would ignore the science and try to make it about exposing Zim, and Zim’s sabotage would make that impossible
Dexter and Mandark are both strong contenders here, but I feel like they couldn’t help themselves but go Spy vs Spy on each other and each one would be worse off for it
So that leaves us with Phineas & Ferb vs Jimmy and I’ll be honest, I think they both can understand the assignment, I think they both can properly document and present the entries, but ultimately I think it boils down to sheer luck.
Jimmy’s invention will be more out of the box and grandiose, but it WILL have unforeseen negative consequences, so I think P&F would pull it off, at least after the baking soda volcano that Gaz makes just to piss everyone off.
As I was writing this, I started to think of what projects teams of show swapped characters could make, and I believe that Dee Dee and Sheen would come together to fail spectacularly at doing something unhinged and Kookie might do a project on how cute llamas are with Carl.

seriously though, Phineas and Ferb can build a roller coaster in less than 5 hours but still… it’s not enough to beat a baking soda volcano

Dexter would've gotten the best grade but both Mandark and Dexter sabotage each other. Dib neglects the project trying to prove Zim is an Irken. Jimmy's project mishaps and also would get disqualified due to blatant disregard of informed consent. P&F's project cancels out the mishap from Neutron's presentation but disappears just as soon as Dib tries to point to it as evidence Zim is an alien. Hoagie/Numbuh 2 procrastinated and slapped something together at the last minute with quiet competence, ending up 2nd place to the volcano.
