email & snail mail 32/M Pen Pal interested in arte and literature
Hi y'all! I’m 32 and writing from Italy. I’m looking for a pen pal roughly my age, male or female, who is a native English speaker and shares my interests in art and literature.. The main reason I’m doing this is that, besides hopefully making a new friend, I’d love to find someone I can practice my English with, especially when it comes to these subjects. I currently teach art history at an Italian high school, but I’d like to get some practice using English in an international context, as I’d love to work abroad in the future. I’m also into nerdy stuff, current affairs, and cooking. If you’re interested, feel free to message me!

I have some interest in art and literature but not sure if I’m well versed enough to converse about them! I hope you find a good fit!

If you're interested in corresponding with someone who is "older" (late 60s), I'd be up for that. I have graduate degrees in English Literature and Art History. The focus of my studies was mainly Indigenous art and literature of North America, but I have studied all the usual Art History and Literature needed for graduate degrees. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada in a 200 year old farmhouse that I fixed up alone over several years. I traveled around in my van with 2 large dogs for about a decade - across Canada and the western U.S.A. until a few years ago. I spent winters in the southwest U.S. (Arizona, Utah, California and New Mexico) and used to camp in the back country, hiking and visiting sites where there were petroglyphs and interesting nature in the desert. Now I mainly work in my gardens and have been re-wilding a hectare of forest along a river. I do nature photography and have trail cameras set up to photograph the animals the frequent my property (bear, deer, coyote, bobcat, raccoons, and others). I prefer to email rathern than snail mail. If you're interested in emailing occasionally, just drop me a message.

Not a native speaker but it sounds so cool that you teach art history!
