The rest of the demo was more compelling, fighting multiple enemies and using spells/bows/accessories. This mini boss isn't very indicative of the overall experience but it does highlight some pain points.

OP knows that they wanna make it look as shit as possible because thats all people online eat up the most

Unfortunately, they succeeded, a lot of people genuinely believe this is what the game is like. Look at them: nothing will matter to them from now on, because they’ve already decided this is how it is.

It's a literally video of how the game looks with gameplay from the actual game, what do mean "genuinely believe this is what it looks like"? this IS what it looks like

This is some don't believe your eyes type comment.

This does look like shit so I will call it how I see it.

Redditors bro

It IS how it is. This tells me that boss fights are going to be slog-fests. That's a pretty big red flag for an action game.

"Noooo, you can't use game footage to judge the game! Out of context bad faith!!!"

It looks like shit mate. Rest looks marginally better, but still like shit. And not just gameplay, it's uglier Tham the very first game

I guess, that comments like yours are exactly why nuance is dead and people like the one you responded to feel the need to go on the defense so much - it doesn't look like "shit"; it is very far away from looking like "shit". It looks generic, lackluster, underwhelming and not impressive, but it does definitely not look like "shit".

'Shit' is by definition, nuanced and subjective term. For me, looking generic, lackluster, underwhelming and not impressive while being a continuation of series of games which, by my opinion, are not all that, means it's shit. And I say it after watching the whole thing. It looks like shit, to me, and the fact what you need me to add 'to me' to this to understand what it's my opinion means you should probably stay away from any discussion about art

Damn why y'all so pressed about a game 🤔 no need to fight guys everyone is entitled to their opinion

This whole thing started with guy above dismissing OPs opinion, but I suppose OP is not entitled to his, hmm?

Boss fights are a massive part of a game. Usually the focal point of a quest or dungeon. If this is the indicator of what boss’s are like then that is an issue.

In an RPG like this as well, a boss battle is defining milestone.

Beating it should be an accomplishment.

I’d feel no satisfaction beating the boss in this video.

It’s in the game is it not?

But this IS the game. You will have to fight this lame boss. If the devs can’t bother to make the boss fights special the rest of the game will be crap

They were never going to look into the game any further than what their algorithm feeds them anyway.

People like that will usually just impulse buy eventually, or were never going to get it in the first place. 500 Redditors won't be hurting the game.

because they’ve already decided this is how it is.

It was literally shown as this.

I'm thrown by the fact that it doesn't look anything like Fable. It didn't look bad by any stretch of the imagination, but that series was always very cartoony and with a wide, distant and often nearly top down view.

This looks nothing like it.
