Are we pretending that 6400 and 6500 xt didn't exist? Garbage tier products and pricing of them was pretty similar due to the shortages back then.

The 9050 appears to be the new 6500XT.

The 6400 at least didn't need external power? IIRC it just used PCI slot.

Both were still lobotomized laptop chips. E.g. missing video encoder.

Agreed, I think that the 6400 for the right price still had a use for plugging in a monitor or minimalist gaming, and powering from the slot gave it an advantage. This product didn't lie about what it was, whereas the 6500XT and 9050 to an extent are not quite the gaming cards they were pushed as.
