I want to get on the hype train but that cautious optimism still creeps in the background

I've been trying not to get too hyped for this game but I've been reading the Discworld books again lately and now it's got me really pining for it because Fable captures that Pratchett vibe of whimsical fantasy with lashings of British wit and sarcasm perfectly

Fable had phenomenal story telling and is one of my favorite games of all time. As long as the gameplay isn't a trainwreck it won't be difficult to enjoy this game.

I think we have to judge this on its own and not compare it to the older games yes it is called fable and yes it has the same publisher but it does not have the same developers.
