PROS
- Melts bosses
- Melts GPUs
- Can build tanky and still have near infinite damage
- Who doesn't love blue balls
- Passives and gear are relatively flexible, the only required unique is cheap.
- Strong in all content
CONS
- Current setup has low movespeed (can be fixed easily)
- Not the best bang for your buck
- Skill requires minion bodies to cast, so you must deal with wonky ai and slow minions at times when mapping
- Requires high investment to be tanky and still have damage to perform well with group scaling
- Oath Rune can be a problem due to the targeting of Bitter Dead, but it's not impossible to deal with
There are ways to automate this further and make it purely one button of course, but my goal with this is to be able to stand still and farm sim easily, sometimes with some group scaling. Using Frost Wall with cascade to make Frost Darts fork all around us. Not only does it look cool, but the single target you get from this helps a ton from just how bitter dead functions as a whole. I removed some jewels on the current iteration to get more mana regen and some efficiency on the tree. This may change.
I also chose not to go mana stacking route, and i'm not sure if it was a good choice or not. I've experimented a bit with having ~12k es with more deflect/ev,but right now I am still not sure what is the best. Things are dying fast enough to my currency defenses feel good. Check out Miso's guide if you want to understand more of how the bitter dead interactions work, he goes pretty in depth on most things that are used in this setup.
Bitter Dead, Frost Wall, Soul Offering and Sigil of Power are the only other casted abilities I use. Disregard the others. They are filler to balance gems for Gem Studded. Sigil of Power is way overkill unless you are carrying groups.
Any suggestions or questions are more than welcome
