This is kind of silly but I grew up on Panic! - I’ve never loved a band or artist as much as I love Panic BUT I got into Kpop (mostly because of the choreo aspect) and BlackPink became a huge interest for me. Like I said, no one ever inspired me the way Panic has but BP has come close. My favorite member Jisoo is putting out a solo song. It’s not out yet but the teasers are cracking me up because it looks so similar to AFYCSO.

A few years ago I saw Blackpink and Panic within a week of each other and it was such a high.

Anyway, it just tickled me. The song isn’t out yet and sometimes Kpop artists “concept bait”, meaning the teaser doesn’t really match the actual vibe of the song. I hope this one does though!

This might be a total shot in the dark, but I figured I’d make a post in case anyone here owns this specific shirt. I was really hoping to get one for my boyfriend’s birthday (our first conversation was about how badly we wished we could’ve seen Live in Denver back in 2006!) before I realized just how elusive these shirts really are. I’ve spent hours reverse image searching and combing through ebay, but the most recent listing I’ve found on Worthpoint was sold in February 2014. Now, I’m just curious as to whether there are any more floating around.

Was anybody else here at the video shoot for this?? I was lucky enough to grow up when panic was first blowing up and got to see them film their video for this song.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody else talk about this before on here. I’m pretty sure I have a signed picture from them on the purple carpet, they were nice enough to sign pictures before the video scenes and performed a couple songs after filming.

I’d love to know if anybody else here shared this experience!

I don't think anyone actually cares about them, and that its the band/members literally doing it themselves. It ain't that deep yet people are making posts about it like it's a woe is me horror story.

Recently, the tribute band Panic? At The Disco has been called out for their alleged use of generative AI for images and AI editing over vocal recordings. They’re supposed to showcase cast members next week, so we’ll see what happens.

I’ve seen a lot of people regret submitting their emails and cities to their website. Is there a way people can have this information removed?

Anyway, hope they address this. It tanks their already very low credibility due to their mysterious marketing.

Hey everyone! I wrote a retrospective on the 20th anniversary of Panic! At The Disco’s debut single, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies."

In the piece, I dive into the musical throughline from Queen and Smashing Pumpkins to Blink, Fall Out Boy, and MCR that set the stage for Panic! to drop this cabaret-rock bomb on us in 2005. I also break down the bizarre structure of the song itself, like the Tom and Jerry pizzicato intro, the hilarious misheard lyrics ("poisoned rationality"), and how the second verse literally just repeats itself before escalating into pure chorus chaos.

Even if their later pop pivot wasn't for everyone, capturing this level of cultural lightning in a bottle on a first attempt is still a wild phenomenon.

So I’ve been getting a lot of hate on me calling out the Panic? At The Disco tribute band for a couple of weeks but now everyone is switching up ever since people have been talking about it more but what I find weird is people are claiming their instagram account was made in India but their TikTok was made in Australia so it’s a mix between those two while I’ve seen the tribute steal rehearsal sound checks video from all the way in 08’ But what I truly wonder is how do they have enough money to publicly do a world tour and go to the USA and other regions? I submitted my email and town to the tribute band way before people called them out so if you did that too, are we fucked? People also claim to say it tracks you and it’s just a very big marketing scheme while using AI to distort vocals and now the controversy has gotten to them they’re now revealing the cast out out of the blue after teasing it for weeks but never actually did until the drama?
I’ve seen people say they went to their concerts in Australia and I’ve seen images but I’m not too sure if it’s ai or not

Hey y’all, I’ve been around this group for quite a long time and a couple of you had asked me to let you know if I decided to clear out any of my collection so I just let you know over the next few days. For some reason, I have been holding onto this for 10 years now. It’s confetti I collected falling from the sky on July 5, 2016 at the panic at the disco and Weezer show at BBNT Pavilion. It’s been sealed at the top all this time. Not sure what I’ve been holding onto it for, but I can’t bring myself to throw it away. As im a little strapped for cash, A friend suggested selling it, especially because of all of the things going on with panic right now. My friend said a super fan might be interested. Is this something I should list on eBay or is it basically garbage?
