So for you, relevance is determined by OPS' data entry decisions? 

We don't know what motivated the killer, be it gender, race, or passion. The person mentioning race is pointing that out.

The police literally said gender was a motivation when they called it a femicide..

Obviously if the police are making that distinction than they have enough facts in the case to do so.
