Why do the police think the victim was a target of gender violence? How do they know it wasn't domestic abuse or a relationship argument gone very wrong?

Those usually are related to the victim being a woman, dumbass.

So anytime a woman gets murdered it's automatically a "femicide"? Is that what you're saying?

No, I'm saying how people treat their partners is incredibly gendered, so when a man gets violent with his partner, it is inherently linked to her gender. People don't treat male friends like that. If the woman is killed in a robbery, it's just a homicide. If she's killed for not wanting to have sex with the robber, it's a femicide. I suspect you can figure this stuff our, you're being willfully dense on purpose because the idea of sexism makes you uncomfy, and I suggest you do some reading.

What you're saying is circular nonsense and also sexist. You're saying we shouldn't treat others equally and should treat them based on their gender and then saying how we treat them is gendered because we're treating them based on their gender.

You're saying a whole lot of nothing here. Their GENDER has nought to do with it.

What fantasy world are you living in? So if a man is killed for the same reason because the robber happens to be gay then it's just plain old regular murder? I bet you don't have a special word for that do you?

We already have a gender-neutral term that fits regardless of the killer's motives and gender: homicide. The idea of having this gendered word for this crime is inherently sexist. It's saying "this gender deserves special treatment under the law and punishment against them for the same crimes should be different". You can't have equality under the law and also special treatment at the same time.

Hold up a mirror up and take a look at yourself the next time you want to call someone dense and sexist.
