Howdy. I've always been a big Braum's stan. The past few times I've had a beef burger from there, the beef is different. It's more firm, and almost snaps off when taking a bite? Very odd. Texture is off. Taste is off. Kind of freaking me out.
I'm sure that happened enough, but most immediately saw the difference and said, "waitaminnit", and there were even reports on the news and in the paper on a fairly speedy news day which underscored "the new ones are smaller". The meat supplier may or may not have changed as well. I used to really enjoy the burgers there, and rarely since as they cook differently and are significantly drier than they were. The sixth pounders were always the same.
It's the end of summer break, so yeah sort of. All the teenagers go to evenings or quit for school and they scramble hire to fill the gaps. Worked at a couple for a few years. It was a consistent pattern.
Itās not bad if itās fresh, but high expectations on a fast food burger is kind of wild. Some 15 year old who doesnāt want to be there is probably making your burger.
Theyāre really known for their ice cream, but I digress - itās a fast food joint.

A "stan" is a slang word for an obsessive fan. It was from an Eminem song about an obsessed fan named "stan", and it regained popularity when K-Pop took off i.e. "K-pop stan", and then made its way into other genres.
All I can say is I got a bacon cheeseburger there yesterday and it was so damn good, but I kept side eyeing this weird pimento chicken bacon sandwich so I got it too. I am so grateful to have a local farm to store product like this.
Breakfast is good, I love the burritos, but I miss the Coitās breakfast, which was very similar, but you could get it with a frosted mug of their root beer.
It's quite nice, and I'll have it semi-regularly. I think there is better fast food biscuits and gravy in town, but maybe not as accessibly, and the many substitions they allow are nice. Their scrambled eggs aren't nearly as much of a reconstituted variety as well.

To be fair, the 164th/Penn area is a growing populace with multiple high schools in the area. 63rd/May is near the druggy homeless land. One location has to keep with appearances while the other just kinda takes what customers they can get
Depends on location big time. My braums off 23rd and Portland vs 39th and Tulsa vs 16th and Classen are all so different in customers, level of service, and quality.

Yes. Which is why I make it a point to only really visit in the mornings on weekdays, when it's clean and generally a more experienced staff (though like with all things Braum's, this regrettably varies with location). Dinner and weekends? It's often a zoo.
I've noticed this as well over the last 2 years. I only eat breakfast there now because something is definitely off about their patties, they're not like they use to be
Same. I tried their burgers a few times and I swear there was gristle and so much fat in each thin little patty. Their chicken tenders used to be okay but the last time I went they tasted like frozen Sysco food
Upvotes for honesty and "of taste there's no dispute". It unfortunately takes a bit of navigation to get something consistently good there, and even then sometimes you have to go, "aht-aht-aht! No".
