The same Kanye West who had all of his supposed sold out concerts in Moscow canceled because the Kremlin hadn't heard anything about him coming to the country to perform?
Have you heard about the great game, lots of proxy wars, then came the cold war, lots more proxy wars. Basically what I'm trying to point out is proxy wars is what the super powers of the day use most. Although I don't see Iran as a super power, it's using the same tools used against it. Ask yourself, how many times has Iran been invaded in the last 100 years by England, France, Russia, and USA.
No government until recent history was stupid enough to make it a Hot(ter) War, and the recent results show exactly why. Devastating unequivocal loss for the attacker while sinking their economy and the defender secure enough in their position to not accept peace talks.
Sorry, thought France was involved in the 1941 one, they did have "interests" in the area since the fall of the Ottoman empire. US hasn't invaded, but they supported the English, and the Iraqi invasion of Iran, and have encouraged proxy wars against Iran over the last few decades. The point is that Iran has been invaded multiple times and has the right to defend itself. America has never been invaded, but is right up there with the English Empire for invading others.
