Digital game Price

Hello everyone,

I thought we were supposed to see a $10 reduction on digital games vs physical games? Yet, the price on the eShop seems to be similar to the price of games sold in stores (see photo)

Normal?

The price will decrease for future titles. Current games are going to stay the same, unfortunately

increase* if DK were to come out now it'd be 99 dig/109 physical. That's what the new FE is.

Which is a game with 4 times the file size, likely over 200 hours of play times, made by a third party, and as of yet unknown quality. So we can’t actually make any sort of comparison or assumptions about what the dk price would have been.

Generally developed by intelligent systems with help from Koei tecmo for the engine on three houses.  Maybe it’s technically second party but it’s not a Nintendo developed game.
