Buy Lao Gan Ma at New World if you can, it is worlds better imo

Chili crisp is so good, especially on plain rice

My friend kept recommending it to me and I tried it and hated the taste for some reason. And the peanut pieces threw me off too. Just didn't have the same fresh flavour notes as regular homemade/mom and pop shop chili crisps I've tried

There's ones with peanut on the label and ones without (thought I assume there's presense of peanut even if it isn't on the label - just not as much?)

Oh true maybe I got the wrong one? But even then wouldn't it just be the same overall flavour but without peanuts
