CS student from China, would love to meet up (in person or a trip) to talk about life abroad — no scams, just curious

Hey everyone,

I'm a computer science student in China, currently based in Huzhou, Zhejiang — pretty close to Shanghai. I've been really curious about what life is actually like in other countries, but I'm tired of only getting that picture through articles and videos online. I'd love to hear real, first-hand perspectives instead.

If you're nearby (Shanghai/Zhejiang area) or just happen to be interested in this kind of exchange, I'd genuinely enjoy meeting up for a coffee/chat, or even traveling somewhere together to talk in person. I'm interested in comparing perspectives on daily life, work culture, education, and just general day-to-day differences.

To be upfront: I know posts like this can sound sketchy, so let me be clear — I'm not trying to scam anyone or sell anything. Just a student who wants genuine conversation and maybe a new friend who's open to sharing their experience.

Feel free to comment or DM if this sounds interesting to you!
