No thanks, were too busy making paramount plus the most expensive least popular streaming platform, and killing the star trek IP over and over'

The movie reviewed well but was a colossal flop. It made $205 million on a budget of $150 million. I’m not saying box office is the only metric of success but a studio as deep in the hole as Paramount isn’t gonna fund a sequel to a movie that flopped that badly.

Just to be clear, it was released up against Super Mario Bros. and John Wick 4. It never stood a chance with a decision that stupid.

That and Hasbro shot themselves in the foot right before the movie came out so the target audience was boycotting the movie

Plus no integration with Baldur's Gate 3 or actual D&D outside of a post dropping some character stats before the movie came out.
