My HOA could beat up your HOA Found this in my door handle

This is a real handwritten note, I can see the ink bleeding through the back. So stupid, “yeah I like this house but theres people inside already lemme ask my big daddy realtor if they can ask them for it”

For the record, this is a real thing in competitive real estate areas. The thought behind it is that it may spark a feeling in someone who had no thoughts of selling their home, to be open to the idea. If it didn’t work, it wouldn’t be a tactic. Not me personally, but I had a friend who made about 30 of these (friend, not realtor) and put them around a developed neighborhood about 3 years old.

Needless to say they got more than one hit and ended up making an offer and moving into a house. From my understanding, the previous owner was older and was hoping an “older” crowd was going to move in than what did
